Windows sends out beeps at times when there are any problems with your PC.
Sometimes these may prove extremely annoying, and here’s how you can disable them:
1. Open the registry editor by going to Start >> Run and typing regedit.exe and hitting enter
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound
3. Double click Beep
4. Change the value to No
That’s it. You’re now set free from those annoying beeps.
Disclaimer: Modifying the registry may harm your system. Make sure that you take a backup before you do so.
