Yahoo!’s Web Messenger

Yahoo! is now offering a browser-based version of it’s popular instant messaging client, Yahoo! Messenger.

You can access it at Web.im or webmessenger.yahoo.com

It’s built on Flash, and it’s slick. It’s logs all your conversations as ‘message history’, and each conversation comes up as a new tab in the window-like interface.
All message logs are searchable from the interface itself. Love the set of emoticons.

Yahoo! Messenger Flash Based Web Version

One little thing which I didn’t like: this version is displaying flash ads in the right corner, not that bad, but still, distractive. Other than that, it’s perfect.
