How to delete your Yahoo email account

If you’ve switched to another email service from Yahoo! and there are no mails arriving there, you may want to close your Yahoo! Account. Here’s how:

  • Go to this page
  • Key in your password
  • Confirm deletion by clicking the Terminate account button

Please note that your you’ll also be not able to access all other Yahoo! Services like Yahoo Games, etc. once you’ve closed your account, and also that it cannot be recovered back.

    well many famous sites have this problem of not providing an easy way to delete their account whether its yahoo mail or google apps account one has to search somewhere for it.. thanks for listing it up….

    i want to delete my account ,thos morning when i logged in as usual the system gave me invalid userid and password message,though i had typed it right coz ive used that account for more than 10 years now.now to delete i need a user id and passsword and everytime i type it it says invalid how do i delete this acount im afraid someone has hacked into my userid/password for sure.coz til last night it was all well.:( pls help

    My uncle’s e-mail got hacked by someone and they changed everything on his account. He cant log in or delete it cause they changed everything. They are sending people e-mail’s that are not wanted. How does he delete his e-mail so they stop?????
