How to rearrange minimized window buttons in the Taskbar?
AdvertisementsAnother feature that I believe Windows lacks by default – it does not allow us to move those buttons of minimized windows on the taskbar. But you can get this functionality by using a third party software.
Download Taskbar shuffle from here, install it and then move and arrange buttons on your taskbar – just by dragging and dropping ‘em.
Taskbar shuffle can also group windows based on application usage and number of windows.

I always wanted to re-arrange windows like we can rearrange tabs in Firefox. Thanks a lot. Downloading…
Welcome, Beta3.

Can’t it be done without installing any thing?
i mean through some tweak or hack!
And what does this appy exactly do that it enables us to move buttons?
Ashfame: I don’t know of any registry hacks that can do this, but if I get to know of any, I’ll post it here for sure
. Well, regarding what this app does exactly I dunno anything but the only thing I can tell you is that you can move those items just by dragging and dropping
Good application mate .
Rearrange Windows Taskbar Items…
Even if you have an ‘unlocked’ taskbar, Microsoft Windows will not allow you to rearranged the minimized application windows to the order you want it. A feature to support this, will be useful on many occasions.
Taskbar shuffle is an app…

Since Firefox came out with the option to rearrange tabs through drag & drop I was wondering why the Microsoft guys didn’t think of it
