Google Global Search Firefox Extension
AdvertisementsGoogle Global is a handy Firefox Extension that lets you easily navigate to a local Google search result page (like google.co.in, google.co.uk, etc.) to view the search results for a particular term.
Google Global can be used in two ways. From the context menu or from the toolbar. The easiest way to use Google Global is to simply do a search for something on Google. When you do your search, simply right click anywhere on the search results page, select “Search Google Global” and select what country you would like to see the results from. It is as simple as that.
Google Global also allows you to customize your toolbar with an additional button as opposed to another memory hogging toolbar
The extension can be downloaded from here.
Seems pretty useful if you want to look up the different results that show up for a particular term based on location on Google.

You are welcome. Just something we used and thought other people might find a use for it. It’s far from perfect, but useful nonetheless.
Do you know if this also shows adwords displayed only in those regions as well. I’m guessing it does but not sure. I’ve been using adwordsanywhere.com to view ads in other areas other then Norway so I can view who is advertising in those areas. It’s a great tool if you ever do any PPC advertising.
Regards,
Jeff
Jeff, yes it does do that. Next release will allow more localized results (city, zip etc.)
