    To tell you the truth I haven’t even once tried this Open Office :P

    I am still using Microsoft Office 2007 but I will give it a try. Thanks for bringing this to spotlight.

    Never used it before. But this time it looks more promising than ever. I’ll download it once I get over with my illness.

    I prefer OpenOffice to MS Office. It feels less bloated to me. I hate how MS Office always wants to “help” me in ways I don’t want it to.

    Open Office is good, but not good enough (coz I had some problems with Microsoft Office users)

    In my Laptop I’ve Office 2004 installed but in my PC, I don’t have any office softies installed. I don’t need them. Occasionally to open files, now we have various online versions for free…. :D

    Those of you haven’t tried this, should give it a try :)
    I’ll not say it’s great, but it’s worth a try. There are some niggles here and there though.

    @Pete S: Haha yes, people also don’t seem to like that F1 Microsoft animated helper. :P
    @Ashwin: Same here. I don’t have any office suites installed on my computer :D
    @Rahul: I don’t have a lappy, so that’s not a problem to me :)
    @Siddharth: Let’s see.
    @Indyank: Thanks for dropping by and sharing that piece of information.

    rahul –
    You really don’t need Office softwares unless you are working on something/officially. MS office is a bloated need for personal use. :)

    Want to start your private office arms race right now?

    I just got my own USB rocket launcher :-) Awsome thing.

    Plug into your computer and you got a remote controlled office missile launcher with 360 degrees horizontal and 45 degree vertival rotation with a range of more than 6 meters – which gives you a coverage of 113 square meters round your workplace.
    You can get the gadget here: http://tinyurl.com/2qul3c

    Check out the video they have on the page.

    Cheers

    I would like a copy of Open Office on disc. We are not able to download the program off your website. We are Aveson Charter School and we are loading it on all our computers.

    Thank,
