well i have used open office…n i must say it is much better if you work in open office as compared specially when it comes to using templates in open office.

I do use OpenOffice, i don’t have latest MS Office. thanks for the info but i will wait until it releases officially, becoz with the pre releases sometime there may be packaging errors and missing files.

You really don’t need Office softwares unless you are working on something/officially. MS office is a bloated need for personal use.

Those of you haven’t tried this, should give it a try
I’ll not say it’s great, but it’s worth a try. There are some niggles here and there though.

@Pete S: Haha yes, people also don’t seem to like that F1 Microsoft animated helper.
@Ashwin: Same here. I don’t have any office suites installed on my computer
@Rahul: I don’t have a lappy, so that’s not a problem to me
