Kazaa Uninstaller

ADVERTISEMENTS

Kazaa is a P2P file sharing desktop client, and has a high reputation for the number of spywares that it comes attached with. Though Kazaa’s official website claims it to be spyware free, many users who’ve downloaded and tried it have suffered from innumerable virus attacks and spyware threats.

These spywares and other bundled adware don’t get uninstalled completely from Windows even when you try to remove them from the Control Panel.

Kazaa Uninstaller

That’s when KazaaBegone comes in handy. This little application promptly uninstalls all Kazaa software and those that come along with it. You can use this Kazaa Uninstaller to get rid of all Kazaa components.

    Kazaa leaves a lot of stuff behind when we uninstall them. But I think, now I can safely try out it’s latest version, thanks to you Shankar for this great tool. :)

    I had jumped on the P2P – Kazaa bandwagon when it first blew in, but the usual complaint of spyware and adware killed it.

    Besides, with so many web applications now freely available for media collection and sharing, kazaa and similar such sites do not really have the same attraction.

    More than Kazaa, I bet KazaBegone will be a popular download!

    I use the uninstaller that comes with Tune Up Utilities, so I don’t think I’d get a separate software for that

    Kazaa comes from the makers of Skype and Joost right? I wonder how Spywares got into it!

    @Madhur: I don’t know much about P2P stuff, but everybody prefers Limewire.
    @RJ: Haha! It may, as long as Kazaa comes with spyware.
    @Haris: Welcome.
    @Vijay: Thanks for that information.
    @Thilak: May be the creator wanted to earn some money with his initial product.

    @Shankar: Yeah, that seems to be only thing which is coming in my mind right now.
