My sources of inspiration

with 26 comments

Vivien of Inspiration Bit is conducting a group project where you can participate by writing about your sources of inspiration.

Inspiration

Here’s where I derive my energy from:

People & Personalities
When I hear the stories of great men, and women, I’m inspired. I respect and admire a lot of people and it’s really interesting to hear their real life stories, how they battled odds and ends to reach the status they’re now. My greatest inspirations are Linus Torvalds, Sergey, Larry, Abdul Kalam, and more…….. the list goes on.

Dreams
Well, I dream a lot. In fact, I dream too much. I dream of what I want to be in my future, what I can do tomorrow and stuff like that :D Dreams propel me to drive forward in someway or the other.

Quotes
LOL, Don’t laugh :D , quotes have something in them. I love to collect quotes. I have a big notebook at home where I jot down quotes I love. There are a hell lot of them. And it’s really interesting to collect such quotes, read them and share them with friends and others. When I read such quotes, I’m motivated. So these ‘quotable quotations’ are an another source of inspiration for me.

Well, that’s it from me. Sorry for the poor writing style :)

If you want to share your sources of inspiration, go ahead and join the group project now!

Colorstrology: What’s your colour?

with 6 comments

Colorstrology is a site that tells you what kind of a person you are, based on your birthday.

I personally don’t believe in astrology and stuff, but this one turned me off: you have toColorstrology pick your birthday, and you’ve your very own unique colour. Mine was Adriatic Blue. Based on your birthday, this site depicts your profile.

This is what I got for my birth date:

Sensitive, yet courageous, you’re a force with which to be reckoned. People find you entertaining and quick-witted. There may be a tendency for you to juggle and get stuck doing two things at once. It’s important for you to channel your energy in one direction.

That was really close to who I am (not cent percent, though). It’s really interesting to read such predictions when they are so accurate to what you are in the real world.

You’ve got a Colorstrology Dashboard Widget for Mac that displays a days unique colour and profile.

So what’s your colour and what’s your predicted profile? Go to Colorstrology and find out and share it here.
